Nanny Position With 1-Year-Old in San Mateo
Description
A very beautiful and sweet young family in San Mateo is looking for a full-time nanny to care for their 1.5-year-old daughter. Someone who is experienced with sleep training. Their daughter is still in the process of learning to sleep on her own, in her crib. They used to receive part-time help from the grandparent, but now their needs have increased. The little girl is very alert and adorable! She loves to read books, walk (and run!) around the house, and play games where she hides toys. She loves her dog, Bear, and exploring every nook and cranny of the house.
Bear is a 5-year-old Korean Village dog, 40 pounds, and doesn't bark. He keeps to himself and is very docile. He will let her pet him, and then he'll walk away. Bear has the personality of a cat. He doesn't care for people 🙂
The girl has food allergies (recently confirmed!) to all nuts, sesame, and chickpeas.
Both parents work from home. Mom works from home 5 days a week, and Dad works from home 4 days a week. They both have separate offices.
Grandma will visit once a week, usually on Thursdays. This should not impact the nanny and the child's daily routine. However, it may open up capacity for the nanny to help out with the child's laundry or prepare a meal for her.
Schedule: 8 am - 4 pm
Compensation: $35/hr, gross
