The Ideal Nanny Candidate for this busy Family in Los Altos of four, kids are 3 year old and 1 year old, is an experienced, professional nanny who is warm, intelligent, and proactive. The family just relocated from London. This candidate should be worldly, adaptable, and comfortable navigating new environments.
Because they are a hands-on parent, this position is for someone who can work alongside with them and accepts a fluid, collaborative dynamic.
For example, mom often loves to step in and handle childcare moments like bath time or bedtime. In those instances, a nanny will instinctively pivot to support the household—perhaps by clearing dinner dishes or tidying the kitchen—so the evening runs smoothly for everyone. They prefer team approach to step in for each other to keep the home calm and organized.
Travel Availability: While the family doesn’t travel a lot, (approx. 1-3 times per year), availability to accompany them on these trips is a must. The nanny should be willing to help maintain routines while away from home.
Schedule: 8am - 6pm, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $38-42/hr. Gross
