My name is Rimma Hisen, and I am excited to announce that I have joined Stanford Park Nannies as CEO! I am honored to have the opportunity to uphold the beautiful culture of Stanford Park Nannies for many years to come.
While attending college, I worked as a nanny to support myself, and although it was not easy, I cherish every memory of those rewarding years. With love and patience, I was able to help shape the precious lives of the children for whom I cared. Today, I’m very lucky to have two young daughters of my own. I bring this personal experience and deep understanding of nannies and families to my new role, in addition to my professional experience in management, sales, and customer service.
As I reflect on my career, one thing remains true — I love working with people and for people. I come to Stanford Park Nannies with an open heart and so much respect for the important work of facilitating trusted nanny and family relationships.
Maggie has worked at Stanford Park Nannies since it was founded, assisting both families and nannies to meet their long-term and temporary/on-call needs. In the temporary department, Maggie is often faced with families who have last-minute needs and challenging circumstances. As a mother to two young kids herself, she understands how helpful on-call nannies can be! She utilizes all options and exhausts her efforts to meet families’ needs.
Whether she is making arrangements for clients to enjoy a date night or placing a nanny in a full-time position, she is always thinking about making the right match. She is a creative and compassionate “people person,” who genuinely enjoys getting to meet with families and nannies in person at the start of their working relationship.
Maggie is the first to tear up while reading a sweet thank you card from a nanny, the first to drop a clever one-liner that cracks everyone up, the shoulder you cry on when you’re having a bad day, and the one you go to if you want to discuss what happened on last night’s episode of Survivor. A few years ago, a nanny who had received our holiday card called the office and asked Maggie if she was “the big one” in the picture. She is proudly our “big one,” and by that we mean her heart!
As our Lead Recruiter, Katelyn is our candidate liaison and manages our full-cycle recruiting, from the point of first contact with new candidates to discovering new ways to connect with highly qualified nannies and household staff within our community. With her cheerful, eager attitude and diverse work history, she tackles a variety of tasks here at SPN!
Before joining our team, Katelyn was a nanny for several local families, oversaw licensed childcare centers as a program director, and was a residential care provider. From these experiences, she gained valuable and comprehensive insights into our industry, helping push us forward with innovative ideas and providing astute advice for nannies. Not to be forgotten is her award-winning laugh and heart for service!
Katelyn recently added her most important role yet to her resume — she is now the mother of a beautiful baby girl!
Emily recently joined Stanford Park Nannies as Research and Content Specialist, where she is delighted to assist the team with wordsmithing, researching, and the recruiting process. As a mother of two and a former nanny, she is excited to work closely with the SPN team to help families and highly-qualified nannies and household staff within our community connect for beautiful working relationships.
Emily hails from a family of teachers and artists and was born and raised in California. She has a degree in creative writing from Bennington College in Vermont and is a writer and award-winning poet. Before joining Stanford Park Nannies, Emily had a long career as a marketing and brand copywriter and was a New York City literary agent. She brings her enthusiasm, creativity, and sense of humor to the team, as well as a strong desire to make people happy!
At home, Emily adores crafting poems and book projects, counseling people through transitions as a certified life coach and journaling mentor, and taking every opportunity to whip up giggle parties with her little ones!
