Temporary Nanny / Babysitter FAQ

Stanford Park Nannies provides a free service to those looking for temporary work as a nanny/babysitter.

  • Parents rely upon our temporary services for a variety of situations including:

  • Assignment Length: Minimum of 4 hours to several months

    • If you are unable to or prefer not to make a year commitment to a specific schedule
  • We ensure that our nannies are placed into a safe working environment

Our temporary jobs typically pay $22 per hour, which will be paid by the family directly at the end of the assignment.
We require all candidates to have the following:

  • Professional childcare experience
  • U.S. work authorization
  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience
  • CPR training
  • An insured vehicle
All candidates will:

  • Complete an in-depth application and in person interview
  • Provide at least 3 childcare references
  • Authorize our background checks to include:
    • Criminal background check
    • Driving record
    • Social Security verification
    • National sex offender check
    • TrustLine registration
