Children’s Health Council
The Children’s Health Council believes in the promise and potential of every child, teen, and young adult.
They specialize in ADHD, Learning Differences, Anxiety & Depression, and Autism and serve families on the Peninsula and South Bay as well as the greater San Francisco Bay Area through their Center, two schools, Community Clinic and Parent and Professional Education. The CHC has been serving kids and families for over 60 years and have impacted almost 1,000,000 children and teens so far.
Stanford Park Nannies currently sponsors the CHC’s annual Rocktoberfest fundraiser; all proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the work of CHC.
NCEFT
For 45 years, NCEFT has helped thousands of children, adults, and military Veterans with neurophysiological, cognitive, sensory processing, and psychosocial challenges. Internationally recognized as a leader in the field, NCEFT offer hippotherapy, adaptive riding, adaptive carriage driving, Veterans Programs, and a wide range of other equine-assisted activities at their beautiful 12-acre facility in Woodside, California. With the distinction of being the only Northern California facility member of the American Hippotherapy Association, NCEFT pioneered one of the nation’s first equine-assisted therapy programs. Currently providing more than 4,000 sessions year, their programs are specialized to treat every individual, no matter their age, background, or diagnosis.

Magical Bridge Foundation
Magical Bridge Foundation’s mission is to ignite and support a global movement that advocates for and achieves the new foundation for truly inclusive and innovative playgrounds.
Nearly 20% of our population is living with a disability, and yet playgrounds are still not designed to meet the unique needs of everyone in our community. Since its April 2015 opening in Palo Alto, California, Magical Bridge Playground has received visitors from around the world interested in replicating this groundbreaking playground model in their communities. This ongoing enthusiasm underscores the urgent and global need for play spaces designed for everyone.
Stanford Park Nannies made a donation to the Magical Bridge Foundation, which will be used to build a new playground in Redwood City, California.
ALS Walk
Sarah (center) with two of her friends at the 2016 walk. Their team of about 200 participants (all mutual friends and family of one very loved individual!) won a sponsored tailgate party by coming in with the highest fundraising total, over $46,000!
Since 2015, Sarah has participated in the Sacramento Walk to Defeat ALS. Stanford Park Nannies has been proud to donate to Sarah’s team!
More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.
In 2014, Stanford Park Nannies participated in the Water Bucket Challenge to promote the fight against ALS. Check out the video below!
Bing Nursery School
Annual Harvest Moon Auction
Bing Nursery School was founded in 1966 and is recognized around the world for excellence in early childhood education. Each year Bing Nursery School holds its annual silent and live auction, benefiting the Bing Nursery School Scholarship Fund. They award over $250,000 in scholarships every year to more than 20% of their 450 children.
Stanford Park Nannies has been a supporter of this auction for 20 years.
Parent’s Place
Parents Place is the Bay Area’s leading family resource center. From everyday issues to challenges requiring specialized assessment, they help parents, caregivers, and educators support children at all ages. Their experts offer parenting workshops, parent coaching & consultation, child behavior & school support, clinical & special needs services, parent/child activity groups, and child & family therapy.
Stanford Park Nannies has provided childcare at various Parents Place functions. Daryl has also spoken on a parent education panel.
Palo Alto Partners in Education – May Fete Parade
For over 90 years, Palo Altans have been celebrating the children of their community and the flower-scented season of spring at the annual May Fete Parade. Kids march in costume related to the parade’s theme and ride their bikes, trikes, scooters, skates, and everything else with wheels! This event is hosted by Palo Alto Partners in Education.
Palo Alto Partners in Education is a non-profit education foundation that is dedicated to supporting all Palo Alto public schools.
Stanford Park Nannies is an annual supporter of the May Fete Parade Fundraiser.
St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room
St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room is the largest “soup-kitchen” between San Francisco and San Jose and the only organization that provides food daily throughout the year. The Dining Room’s provides warm, nutritious meals in a social and friendly atmosphere to alleviate hunger and malnutrition. They serve all without regard to age, sex, race, religious beliefs, national origin, or disabilities.
They serve an average of 500 meals a day. Their patronage typically doubles on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They serve approximately 1,000 meals on each holiday.
For over 10 years, Stanford Park Nannies has been an annual supporter of St. Anthony’s. Their staff has volunteered in the kitchen preparing the donated food, organizing groceries into take-home bags, and serving meals to those in need.
AYSO
AYSO is a non-profit organization that provides youth soccer programs for participants all over the United States and internationally in the Virgin Islands, Trinidad, and Tobago. Consisting of over 50,000 teams and 500,000 players nationwide, AYSO is one of the leading youth soccer organizations in the world.

Menlo Atherton Cooperative Nursery School
The Menlo-Atherton Cooperative Nursery School uses play-based learning to help children develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and build self-confidence. Parents play an active role by working in the classroom, attending parent education classes, and serving on the school board and committees.
Toys For Tots
Toys for Tots is a foundation run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve whose objectives are as follows: to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
Nanny Training
Stanford Park Nannies began their nanny training initiative in 2010, which continues to grow to this day!
SPN underwrites the major costs of these trainings in order to provide quality enrichment to all nannies in our community at a low cost. A large part of this initiative is their participation in National Nanny Training Day, where SPN nannies are treated to day of instruction from many different child development experts. There are many different topics covered on this day, including nutrition for children, communication, creativity in children, mindfulness, and special needs. SPN also hosts an Infant/Child CPR Certification class every couple months that is open to anyone who wishes to register.
