Experienced Nanny for 3-months-old, Palo Alto – Los Altos
Description
These new parents welcomed their little boy in October 2024. They are purchasing their new home large home and moving to Los Altos Hill or Palo Alto in early summer 2025.
The mom is still enjoying her firstborn's company and plans to return to work when she feels comfortable leaving her son in the good hands of an experienced nanny. 1-2 months.
Grandparents will visit for extended periods and are currently staying with the Family. They will play a supporting role as needed.
It is important that a nanny does not use scented lotions or perfumes. The Family hopes to find a nurturing, long-term nanny who will join them as a dedicated partner in their child's development journey.
The father works night shifts. Right now, the baby is on a 3-hour feed cycle, with 40-minute short naps after feeding.
Key Responsibilities:
-Partner closely with parents to ensure consistent caregiving approaches and maintain open communication about daily activities and milestones
-Create age-appropriate activities supporting cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development.
-Foster developmental milestones, including tummy time.
Engage in interactive activities like reading, singing, sensory play, and outdoor exploration
-Keep the nursery and play areas clean, organized, and safety-compliant
-Prepare and sterilize bottles, maintain feeding schedules
-Document and celebrate developmental achievements
Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm
Compensation: $35-36/hr, DOE
