This friendly Family in Hillsborough is looking for an intuitive, experienced Family Assistant to work a ROTA schedule, 7 days on and 7 days off, 7 am— 8 pm. This role is for someone who is great at thinking on the go and good at planning, but also who can follow instructions and is open to them. Minding boundaries and professionalism are essential for this position.
Traveling with the family is part of the job. The Family residence has a pool, and family excursions and trips involve lots of swimming. An ideal candidate must be comfortable swimming with children. The best candidate for this job is good at anticipating the needs of kids and following the family calendar. The main focus is children but also everything that involves preparation for their activities, school events, camps, etc. College degree is one of the main conditions.
Strong organizational skills are a huge plus. Outside of working directly with the children, many tasks involve organizing and ordering materials/clothes, buying gifts, and participating in holiday preparations. Cooking for children simple and healthy meals (breakfast sandwiches or like). The family employs a chef, and the family assistant will not be responsible for preparing family dinners.
Other responsibilities: preparing children for traveling, packing suitcases. Teaching children to participate in organizing. Family has a house keeper.
Longevity is vital for this Family. Parents work a lot from home, so being comfortable working with Parents being around is crucial.
Compensation: 140K
