Caring and Engaging Nanny for Toddler and Newborn in San Jose
Description
San Jose (now in Willow Glen, but moving to Piedmont Hills, East of SJ, soon) family seeks a full-time nanny for their almost two-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, energetic, and loving, and will become a valued part of the family. The nanny should enjoy engaging toddlers with structured learning activities, reading, singing, and creative play. The family is expecting a second child in November 2026; the new nanny will take full charge of the toddler and eventually help care for the newborn. Their daughter is active, bright, emotionally intelligent, and independent; she enjoys books, crafts, learning structured behaviors, and receiving praise for good behavior. The mother works from home and is frequently present; the grandmother lives nearby and the family visits often. The household includes a friendly dog that does not require nanny care. The new home is a three-story, approximately 3,500 sq ft residence.
Pay:$35-$40/hour gross (DOE) with an increase once care includes both children. Benefits include seven paid major holidays, ten vacation days, five sick days, and an annual performance-based bonus.
