Family Assistant for Very Busy Parents of Three Children in Portola Valley
Description
This Portola Valley family of five, with kids who are 10, a 10-year-old girl, and 8-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, is looking for an active, curious, and able Nanny who can encourage learning, be creative, and be optimistic. The family employed their first nanny for eight years and had a wonderful relationship with her. Unfortunately, she is no longer available. Duties: oversee organizational projects, run errands, do laundry, and manage family calendar. Proficiency with tech required, at the level of email and calendar and google docs. Must be comfortable helping with homework.
Parents often travel for work, so flexibility with a week or two's notice to stay overnight is crucial. Also, assisting one time per week in the evening if the parents are working late.
The work hours might reach 40 hours/week, but 30 hours are guaranteed.
Regular schedule: 12 pm - 6 pm
Compensation: $40-45/hr, DOE
