Full Time Nanny Job for Baby and Toddler In Palo Alto
Description
A very busy young family of two professionals in Palo Alto seeks a sweet, caring nanny to care for their two children: a 3-year-old boy and a 2-month-old baby girl. The ideal candidate is experienced with infants and toddlers, preferably fluent in Spanish to support the family’s goal of raising bilingual children, and comfortable managing a busy household with a calm, patient demeanor.
Duties include morning routines; transporting the 3-year-old to school with her baby sister in the car; supervising the baby’s 3 daily naps in her crib; handling the kids' food preparation, feeding, and clean-up for meals and playtime; the kids’ laundry; and tidying. Someday soon, occasional driving to scheduled activities or appointments. The family home is a neat, casual 4-bedroom, 3-bath house across three levels, including a finished basement that serves primarily as a dedicated kids’ playroom, plus a small backyard with a shed, a modest front garden, and a brick walkway. The household also includes a sweet 12-year-old golden retriever named Mia. Father works from home on Monday and Friday in his office/study.
P. S. An afternoon/evening nanny is employed Monday–Thursday, 3:30–7:00 PM, and assists after the daytime nanny is finished and cares for the dog.
This position covers 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Compensation is $40/hour. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
