Nanny and a Right Nand to an Young Mom in San Mateo
Description
A friendly young family in San Mateo is looking for a warm, experienced nanny to partner with the mom to help run the home. Warmth and love for children are very important to me, but my overall preference is for someone on the quieter side who can observe what is needed and step in/work with mom to ensure the home runs smoothly.
Duties: help with laundry and dishes, occasional grocery pickup, and assistance with meals if the mom is busy with both kids.
Good Team player, driving short distances to school and parks
The family lives in a two-level home with 4 bedrooms (all upstairs) and 3.5 bathrooms. We like to keep the house clean and tidy, but are not incredibly precise about the home. There are children's toys in the family room, for example.
Grandparents will continue to help with our son and daughter, but will generally come when the nanny is not there. They are retired and flexible to work around the schedule we establish with the nanny. Traveling with the family is appreciated but not necessary.
Compensation: $37-38/hr gross
