Nanny for 3 and 8 year-old in Palo Alto, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Description
A Palo Alto family is looking for a nanny who can engage their kids in stimulating activities, facilitate play dates at home, drive them to and from activities, and build trust with the kids over the long term. A Nanny who would be comfortable with light clean-up (kids only), snack and lunch prep, and assisting with kids' laundry. Daily routine:
1. Pick up the 3 yo son from Bing Preschool at 11:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and take care of him until 5 pm.
2. Pick up the 8-year-old daughter from Ohlone Elementary at 2:20 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
3. Drive her to therapy appointments, occasionally with her brother.
4. Assist with the 3 yo with naps.
The 8-year-old girl has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She gets along nicely with caregivers but has challenges making friends with children of the same age.
The Family lives in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, single-level, semi-modern family home. Mom works at home, and Dad sometimes works from home.
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm
Compensation: up to $40/hr, DOE
