Nanny for an infant in Stanford
Description
This busy professional family in Stanford is looking for an experienced, nurturing, and dependable full-time nanny to primarily care for their baby daughter, who will be approximately 5 months old when the position begins. Their 4-year-old daughter attends preschool full-time from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with parents typically handling drop-off and pick-up. Mom works from a home office several days a week, and the family is hoping to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of their lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate infant care
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Managing the children's laundry and light child-related cleaning
- Occasionally picking up the older daughter from preschool or caring for both children for short periods
The ideal candidate is nurturing, safety-conscious, and highly reliable, with good judgment and strong communication skills. Given the parents' demanding work schedules, punctuality and consistent attendance are especially important.
Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Thursday–Friday: 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $38–$40/hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Paid major holidays, two weeks of paid vacation/PTO, five paid sick days, and legal W-2 payroll.
