San Carlos Family looking for Engaging Nanny for 2 year-old and Newborn
Description
New to the Bay Area, this family with a 22-month-old daughter is expecting a baby due at the end of June. They are a screen-free house, and mom works in the art field, and dad is an engineer. The ideal nanny will be proactive in preparing engaging activities for & with their daughter. There are great parks & Library within walking distance, and she will start preschool this summer.
It would be great if the nanny were comfortable in the kitchen, as they hope their daughter can be engaged in cooking as well, with age-appropriate, simple recipes like pancakes, muffins. Meals are very simple and would include slicing/cutting fruits and veggies (like cutting a cucumber or cherry tomatoes) or preparing some pasta.
A kind, nurturing nanny with experience with toddlers is essential. Family models good behavior/manners, and reinforces positive behavior at home at this age.
Hours: M, TH. Fri 9 am - 5 pm, Tues. 11:30 am - 6:30 pm and Wed. 11:30 am - 8:30 pm
Compensation: $35-$38/Hour Gross + Benefits & Medical Stipend
