Full-Time Active Family Nanny Needed – Two Homes (San Carlos & Portola Valley)
Description
The children’s long-time nanny is retiring, and the family is seeking an engaged, energetic full-time nanny to support their school-aged son and daughter. The ideal candidate will build a strong bond with both children, provide active and sports-focused play (especially with the son), and assist with homework and daily routines.
This role is split between two homes, San Carlos (4 bed/4 bath, split-level, recently renovated with a pool and five chickens) and Portola Valley (5 bed/5 bath with a pool). Primary responsibilities include transporting the children to and from school and between households, within a cooperative and civil co-parenting arrangement. Each home has a friendly doodle; however, pet care is managed by the parents.
The family employs weekly house cleaners, so daily duties are limited to light tidying related to the children. During school hours, the nanny may run errands, assist with child-related household tasks, or pursue approved educational or professional activities.
Ideal candidates are active, energetic, and enthusiastic about engaging in sports and play with children. They should also be comfortable supporting the children through ongoing therapeutic transitions related to the parents’ divorce.

Schedule: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM
Pay: $42-45/hr DOE
