Active Nanny for Infant in Redwood City
Description
Redwood City Family seeks a passionate, experienced nanny with formal training in child development or extensive hands-on experience in early childhood to provide loving, developmentally focused care for their infant. The ideal candidate is high-energy, detail-oriented, a strong problem-solver, and an excellent communicator who will partner closely with the family for at least the next two years and ideally remain as the family grows (a second child is possible within 2–4 years).
Responsibilities include nurturing the baby’s cognitive, physical, and social development, establishing routines (the child sleeps in a crib), preparing bottles of expressed breast milk as needed, and supporting a warm, consistent home environment.
The family seeks someone open to occasional travel (1–2 trips per year) and a few overnight stays annually. The household includes a well-behaved housecat, Josephine.
Start date: 10/19/2026
Schedule: 8 am - 6 pm
Compensation is $38–$42/hour, depending on experience.
