Description

Family assistant needed in San Francisco to drive a 13-year-old daughter to San Jose for swim practice 2–3 times per week and to assist at home with the 10-year-old son’s homework while the mother is taking daughter to practice.

During school breaks, the assistant should be able to take the son to activities and camps. When both children are at school, responsibilities include running errands, prepping lunches, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and managing the children’s laundry. The assistant will also help manage the family calendar and coordinate events.

Comfort with dogs is required: the family dog, Ozzy, is a nearly six-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix who is initially shy but warms up over time. Dog duties are minimal (letting him out to use the yard); walking Ozzy is a plus if the assistant is comfortable doing so.

Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday 2:30 PM–6:30 PM; Tuesday–Wednesday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Pay: $40/hour, guaranteed 34 work hours per week (plus six hours overtime).

Use of a personal vehicle to transport children is compensated at $0.76 per mile, plus a $150 monthly stipend.

“I would like to thank the whole team at SPN for all you guys do. In this midst of the heartbreak and hardships the COVID-19 crisis has imposed on our neighbors, our families, and our friends, I am also inspired and deeply moved by the compassion, resiliency, and the human spirit of the  SPN team. Thank you for being there with us. We are here for you.”

"I would rate Stanford Park Nannies very highly! They provide a great flow of very qualified candidates, who are all prepared to pay taxes. They have a great vetting process and did not waste our time with those that weren’t a fit. In addition to our full-time search, they had the ability to quickly identify relevant interim/temp nannies as well!"

"SPN is a powerhouse agency of incredible women who embody experience, passion, and a heart for service!"
