A busy professional family in Stanford is seeking an exceptional, experienced full-time nanny to primarily care for their baby daughter, who will be approximately five months old when the position begins. Responsibilities include providing warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care; preparing meals and snacks; managing the children’s laundry; and handling light, child-related cleaning. The family’s four-year-old daughter attends preschool full-time from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On a regular basis, the parents will handle her school drop-off and pick-up. However, the nanny may occasionally be asked to pick her up from preschool or care for both children for short periods.The ideal candidate is nurturing, safety-conscious, and highly reliable, with sound judgment and clear communication skills. Mom works from a home office several days a week. Because of the family’s demanding work schedules, consistent attendance and punctuality are extremely important.The family looks forward to finding someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of their lives.Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Thursday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Compensation: $38–$40/hour, depending on experienceBenefits: Competitive benefits package, including paid major holidays, two weeks of paid vacation/PTO, five days of paid sick leave, and legal W-2 payroll.
